Description:
Garrawarra
Centre provides a centre of excellence for 120 residents
in 4 appealing and personal cottages for 30. The new
facility replaces the existing dysfunctional accommodation,
which does not meet current guidelines or practice standards.
Each
new residential cottage is divided into 2 independent
wings, which share common facilities in a domestic scaled
environment.
Each
cottage has its own entrance and access to a safe, secure
outdoor garden, domestic kitchen and dining areas as
well as having staff and storage facilities.
Construction
was completed in June 2000.
