Description:
The John Flynn Hospital, originally owned by the Westpac
Banking Corporation and now managed by Health Care of
Australia is one of the largest private hospitals in
Australia.
The
Capworks Group (TCG) was appointed in 1992 as an adviser
to Westpac in the field of facility management. Following
successful negotiations with the operator, TCG was appointed
in late 1992 as Project Director, Project Manager and
Construction Manager to complete the hospital for occupation
in late 1993 and the medical centre in March 1994.
The
building is now very successfully operated by Health
Care of Australia, a subsidiary of Mayne Nickless.
