Description:
Macquarie
Care Centre is a home providing accommodation and care
to frail and/or dementing elderly people.
The new 55 bed facility is sited on level ground, providing
secure resident accessible external courtyards. Resident
accommodation has been provided in four cottages, all
linked to the "village centre" which comprises
of administrative and support areas.
One
of the cottages has been specifically designed to cater
for dementia residents.
Construction
was completed in February 2000.
